We travelled to the rainy streets of Liverpool on Friday (alright, so it was raining in London too) and played an instrumental set as part of Liverpool Music Week. Thanks to all that came along and enjoyed themselves, also a big thank you to Capac for organising it, we really enjoyed their set and urge you to check them out.

Epic name fail
Any of you who didn’t have a chance to listen to the Radio One interview the other day may not be aware of the exciting news that we have recently signed to Monotreme Records. We’re really delighted to be involved with this incredible independent label who have put out some of our favourite records by the likes of 65 Days Of Static, Thee More Shallows and Jeniferever. Monotreme will be re-issuing our debut album Condors in Spring of 2010. Our initial self release was on a very small scale due to our lack of budget and contacts, so we send a big thank you to all who supported us at that stage and now hope that anyone who has been unable to buy the album will soon be able to with ease!
We are planning to tour both in the UK and Europe in Spring 2010 to promote the re-issue and hopefully bring our music to a wide audience who have yet to see us live. UK fans, we’re currently sourcing good venues and promoters for late April next year, if there’s somewhere you’d like to see us play please let us know and we’ll do our best to sort it out.
So we have one Instrumental show left this year and then we’ll be going into hibernation until March. New ideas are beginning to come together here and there, so hopefully a bit of a break from playing live will give us a chance to record some new demoes.
So, here is a flyer I made for our last gig for a while. Bethan Elfyn hosts BBC Radio One’s Introducing show in Wales, she’s a strong supporter of new and independent music and works hard to give up and coming bands exposure via her radio show and gigs. This gig is part of her regular night in Cardiff and we’re delighted to be playing. It’ll be our first Welsh outing, so we’re really hoping to see some friendly faces. The bill is a mixture of bands playing fairly quirky music, so it should be an interesting one!
See you there! Chris x
