We’ve been asked to play at this Post War Years show on Thursday, which is very nice, check out their tunes, they’re great. We’ll be doing an instrumental set, come on down, it’s free entry and easy to get to (right next to Brixton tube). It’s at a new venue called ‘The Rest Is Noise’, here’s a map and here’s a link to the facebook event so that you can invite your friends!
More news in Nedry world. Earlier this year we recorded a live session for Huw Stephens’ Radio One show at the excellent Maida Vale studios. These songs, plus a bit of interview action, will be broadcast on Huw’s show on Wednesday 4th November. One song between 9pm – 10pm, the other three between 12am – 2am. The whole show will be up on the brilliant BBC IPlayer for 7 days after the broadcast, so we hope you get a chance to listen. You can listen to Radio One on 98.5FM or online at http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/. He’s got Fuck Buttons in session this Wednesday, so we’ll tuning in for that for sure.
Also, we were delighted to find a nice review of ‘Condors’ in this month’s copy of Rock-A-Rolla. Here’s a nice quote from it, “Evoking everything from Bjork to Joanna Newsom and Beth Gibbons herself; and when they’re fusing this talent with the subtle waves and the techno punch on closer ‘Where the dead birds go’ and undoubted highlight ‘Swan Ocean’, it’s highly innovative stuff.” Cheers!
